Draft document, pending legal review

This document is a working draft prepared as part of building FriendlySpeaking. It is not legal advice and has not yet been approved by Canadian or United States legal counsel. Final wording will be confirmed by qualified counsel before launch.

What we build toward

  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
  • Screen reader support through semantic structure and clear labels.
  • Sufficient colour contrast for text and interface elements.
  • Accessible forms with clear, descriptive error messages.
  • Captions for video content.
  • Respect for reduced-motion settings, including in our product demo.
  • Layouts that work on small screens with tap-friendly controls.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is reviewed as part of building each new feature rather than treated as a final check. We evaluate applicable Canadian requirements, including AODA and provincial accessibility rules where they apply to our business, and applicable United States federal and state requirements. We do not claim legal compliance until that review is complete.
